Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform, or site reliability.
• Experience designing and operating cloud/infrastructure in production.
• Strong problem-solving for distributed systems.
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code and modern runtimes.
• Production reliability through observability and capacity planning.
• Incident leadership and remediation experience.
• Automation judgment and coding skills for AI-enabled outputs.
• Cross-team mentoring and influence without formal ownership.
• Up to 50% travel and hybrid office requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build shared cloud foundations with reusable infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering while reviewing, debugging, and testing code.
• Review architectures, migrations, and releases for reliability and cost.
• Define evidence for production readiness and manage readiness transitions.
• Establish service objectives and observability standards.
• Guide scaling decisions using workload performance data.
• Lead deep investigations and durable fixes for failures.
• Design resilience tests, recovery plans, and rollback paths.
• Publish reference implementations and runbooks.
• Coach engineers and transfer capabilities to owners.
