Job summary

Aerospike is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build Aerospike Cloud, our multi-cloud, fully managed database service. You’ll own parts of the console, APIs, billing, usage, and telemetry, turning complex infrastructure into polished experiences.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Cloud engineering teams, owning features from design to production, in a high-ownership, high-impact role based in Mountain View, CA. The position is full-time and offers ownership at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production applications.
• Strong experience with modern frontend development (React, TypeScript).
• Experience building APIs/backend services (Go/Node/Java or similar).
• Experience with SaaS, developer tools, cloud consoles, or other complex products.
• Strong product instincts and usability focus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Build the Cloud product experience: console, APIs, workflows for Aerospike Cloud.
• Develop polished frontend experiences and supporting APIs/services.
• Turn complex infrastructure concepts into intuitive developer experiences.
• Own features from design through production and operation.
• Design for reliability and scale in multi-tenant, multi-cloud environments.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to architecture.
