Job summary

Aerospike is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the team building Aerospike Cloud, our multi-cloud, fully managed database service. You will own the console, APIs, billing, telemetry, and workflows that define the customer experience.

Based in the Bay Area, you will hire and grow frontend and full-stack engineers while setting the technical direction and maintaining a high bar for production quality. This role sits at the nexus of product and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in management.
• Strong background in frontend or full-stack engineering with React and TypeScript.
• Experience leading SaaS/cloud-console or infrastructure product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Cloud product experience for the console, APIs, and workflows.
• Hire, coach, and grow frontend and full-stack engineers while building a culture of ownership.
• Own capabilities spanning usage metering, billing, licensing, entitlements, and telemetry.
• Set the technical direction with close attention to architecture and production code quality.
• Establish reliability and product metrics; ensure production readiness.
