Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager for AWS EC2 to drive strategic direction, translate customer needs into requirements, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and support.

You will own the product roadmap, guide cross-functional teams, and shape GTM with emphasis on security, scalability, and customer success within the AWS ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience.
• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience.
• 3+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, other related).
• 7+ years of full product life cycle experience.
• 5+ years of P&L management and pricing experience.
• 5+ years of creating written docs for development of new products experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise security product experience.
• 5+ years of product management in the cloud computing technology space experience.
• Experience taking a product from conception through engineering design to market.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the EC2 service, with a deep understanding of its underlying architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather customer insights, define product strategy, and prioritize the product roadmap.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications, ensuring alignment across the organization.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap, and key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Act as a technical advocate for customers, representing their needs and challenges to the product development team.
• Develop an understanding of the broader AWS ecosystem and EC2 integration with other AWS services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to sales and professional services teams for complex engagements.
• Collaborate to plan and execute successful product launches, driving adoption and customer satisfaction.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
