Job summary

Temporal Technologies seeks a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer to drive scalability and reliability across compute, networking and cloud orchestration. You will act as SME, build critical systems, optimize cloud use, and shape infrastructure strategy.

You will co-author roadmaps, collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams, and partner with customers to understand requirements and deliver secure-by-default solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to complex cross-team engineering efforts focused on cloud, compute, networking and storage infrastructure.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Comfortable driving alignment across an organization and contributing to long-term roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to make system-level tradeoffs.
• At least 10 years coding experience (Go, Java, or other applicable language) and experience writing concurrent code.
• Experience designing distributed systems and using concurrency primitives.
• Deep experience in at least one infrastructure and familiarity with adjacencies.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Role Summary

We have an opening for a Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer in our Infrastructure team focused on driving technical strategy, alignment and execution of projects across compute, networking, cloud orchestration, and observability. This is an opportunity to join an engineering team focused on improving the scalability and reliability of Temporal's core infrastructure.
In this role, you will be the SME and build critical systems to identify and reduce costs as we optimize for scale in the cloud.
