Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Austin seeks a senior cloud platform engineer to advance Schwab Google Data & Analytics capabilities, CDWP, and PAML workloads. You will design and operate scalable Google Cloud solutions, enforce security and governance, and drive automation and resiliency across multi-tenant analytics platforms.

You'll partner with data, analytics, AI/ML, architecture, Cloud Services, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver reliable platform capabilities at enterprise

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
8+ years in cloud platform engineering or equivalent.
5+ years in enterprise data platform ecosystem (ETL, BI, analytics).
4+ years designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
3+ years Google Cloud Platform experience with data/analytics/AI/ML.
Experience with multi-tenant data/analytics platforms and shared services.
Experience owning/ supporting production platform services with availability and resiliency.

Responsibilities

Engineer and support SGDA platform capabilities on CDWP and PAML (CDWP and PAML focus).
Design scalable Google Cloud platform solutions for onboarding, growth, and new analytics use cases.
Strengthen PAML capabilities across predictive analytics, fraud Risk, and related analytics teams.
Support CDWP platform growth via automation, reliability engineering, onboarding improvements, and production readiness.
Build reusable platform patterns to improve reliability, security, and delivery speed across SGDA platforms.
Collaborate with data, analytics, AI/ML, architecture, Cloud Services, cybersecurity, and application teams.
