Job summary

Integer Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure powering maritime visualization platforms. You will ingest, store, and process scientific data, provision compute for high-performance digital twin simulations, and expose robust APIs for downstream applications.

This role requires translating complex workloads into reliable cloud services for operators and analysts.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US DoD/DoW Secret clearance.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture and management.
• Ability to travel up to approximately 20% of time.

Responsibilities

• Design a cloud deployment architecture bridging multiple customer clouds.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes or managed batch services; implement scheduling and autoscaling.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design secure, versioned services and API gateways.
• Observe with centralized logging, metrics, and tracing to achieve SLO-grade incident detection and root-cause analysis.
• Enforce least-privilege IAM, data encryption, secret management, and vulnerability scanning; meet FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 baselines for government work.
• Evaluate emerging cloud services to accelerate digital twin simulations and reduce data latency.
