Job summary

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated seeks a senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our public cloud platform. You will apply IaC, automation, and high-availability patterns to support global applications and scale across teams.

You will work on Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security, performance, and reliability. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and collaboration with cloud ops

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience required.
• 8+ years IT experience required.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with public cloud deployment, setup and configuration.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Advanced engineering knowledge of public cloud services including monitoring, compute, storage, networking, security.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates design, development, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, network, and layout. Build and maintain public cloud platform infrastructure as code services
• Ensure public cloud infra meets security, availability, and reliability requirements; ensure compliance with security policies.
• Execute DevOps standards and best practices across RGA infra
• Maintain broad knowledge of cloud engineering trends and tech advancements
• Monitor and improve cloud system uptime, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness
• Provide regular status, operational, incident, and change reports.
