KLA is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer in Milpitas, CA to build secure, scalable cloud solutions across GCP, Azure, and AWS, with emphasis on GCP/Azure. You will design IaC, automate deployments, and collaborate with security and engineering teams to improve reliability and resilience.

Responsibilities include migrations, modernization, governance guardrails, and observability. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and containers, plus Terraform and Kubernetes, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Eight years of hands-on cloud platform engineering or infrastructure experience.
• Proficient in at least one major cloud platform (GCP or Azure preferred) with AWS in scope.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
• Experience embedding security into IaC and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, platform, and security teams.

Responsabilités

• Build scalable, secure cloud platforms on IaaS/PaaS across GCP, Azure, and AWS (focus on GCP/Azure).
• Migrate clouds — re-host, re-platform, refactor, and re-architect with automation and security improvements.
• Drive modernization for scalability, performance, and efficiency.
• Partner with engineering and security teams to implement reference architectures and guardrails.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (primary) and other templates.
• Build DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and compliance.
• Implement observability — logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response integration.
• Create platform documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Support cloud operating models: FinOps, tagging standards, and resource governance.
