Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineer in Austin, TX, to design and optimize cloud-native systems, including Kubernetes clusters. You will document, validate, and improve delivery artifacts while collaborating with a global team in an Agile environment.

You will leverage Go, Python, Bash, Java, and other languages, plus Terraform and Docker, to implement scalable infrastructure. This role requires US work authorization and a production-grade background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with large-scale infrastructure systems in production.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Bash, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (or others).

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and manage cloud-native systems including Kubernetes clusters.
• Document, maintain, improve, and validate work products.
• Participate in agile scrum processes with planning and retrospectives.
• Coordinate and participate in cybersecurity reviews.
• Coordinate and participate in architecture reviews.
• Collaborate with global teams to execute project initiatives.
