MRI Technologies is seeking a senior Cloud Operations Engineer for NASA Johnson Space Center on the JETS II contract. You will design, build, and operate enterprise-grade cloud platform services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, enabling COTS and cloud-native deployments for Artemis missions.

The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD, with collaboration across security and compliance teams to ensure industry best practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in cloud/platform engineering.
• Strong Linux experience and programming proficiency (Go/Python).
• Hands-on Kubernetes management, CI/CD, and observability tooling.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade, multi-tenant cloud platform services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Develop cloud-native platform services and administer NASA cloud networks, enabling deployment of COTS and cloud-native apps.
• Maintain managed Kubernetes offerings (EKS/AKS/GKE) and integrate cloud AI/data services.
• Write quality code, perform reviews, and promote best practices in cloud-native development.
• Collaborate with NASA security/compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.
