Job summary

Maximus is seeking an IT Architect - Cloud Platform to lead enterprise cloud strategy, architecture, and modernization across AWS, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices. This remote role influences multiple teams and establishes governance, standards, and scalable platform patterns.

You will mentor engineers, drive automation, and ensure secure, compliant, and highly available platform services aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required.
7+ years in cloud/platform/infra roles.
Proven AWS cloud platform design and scaling experience.
Deep DevSecOps, secure SDLC, and software supply chain security expertise.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise SaaS/PaaS architectures for scalability and security.
Lead cloud platform solution design and adoption decisions.
Mentor engineers on cloud technologies and platform standards.
Define HA/DR, security posture, and cost optimization.
Oversee CI/CD, IaC, testing frameworks, and deployment processes.
Drive secure software supply chain practices and governance.
