Job summary

Erias Ventures in San Antonio, TX seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer with strong AWS experience, Go programming skills, and a solid Linux foundation. The role involves designing and deploying infrastructure as code, integrating open-source components, and advancing big data/cloud technologies while solving complex problems.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with architects and engineers, and you may access a Secret clearance process; US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Must have experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes or vendor flavor of Kubernetes
• Experience with Python or Go programming
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks, security, and shell scripting
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Hybrid work requirement: 1–2 days per week at San Antonio office

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software from prototype to operational applications
• Act as a systems integrator to enhance, optimize, or strengthen existing codebase
• Develop infrastructure as code and use modern tools to define, build, and manage cloud infrastructure
• Perform other duties as assigned
