Job summary

Inovalon is seeking a Senior Systems Development Engineer L4 to define and enforce governance for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Snowflake). The role emphasizes automation, platform features, and supporting application teams with scalable infrastructure.

Required are 5+ years in cloud engineering or SRE, deep knowledge of IaC and CI/CD tools, and scripting skills in Linux Shell, PowerShell, or Python. A Bachelor's is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology.
• 5+ years in Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineer roles.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or Snowflake and cloud governance.
• Strong skills in infrastructure as code automation and CI/CD tooling.
• Scripting experience with Linux Shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and enforce governance and standards for cloud platforms.
• Develop platform-level features and infrastructure-as-code components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, monitor, and optimize cloud infra.
• Ensure reliability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency of solutions.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and automation of servers, storage, and networking.
