Miaplaza is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own how we build, deploy, and operate our cloud platform. You’ll drive modernization toward cloud-native architectures, enhance compliance, and enable platform self-service for developers.

The role spans GCP-focused infrastructure, CI/CD with GitLab, and observability while aligning with security and disaster recovery goals. You will work across a distributed team, contribute to a reusable Terraform module library, and help optimize costs on GKE

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Solid Terraform experience with modules, state, and drift handling.
• Production Kubernetes experience (GKE preferred).
• Senior GCP knowledge (IAM, networking, KMS, GKE, CloudSQL, Secret Manager).
• Experience with CI/CD design and GitOps (GitLab CI, FluxCD or ArgoCD).
• Bash scripting, networking basics, and Linux administration.
• Strong English communication and ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP (primary) and AWS (supplementary) with Terraform.
• Drive cloud migration toward GKE with a container-centric approach and evaluate SaaS options.
• Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (FluxCD/ArgoCD).
• Operate observability stack, build dashboards, alerts, and runbooks; participate in blameless post-mortems.
• Contribute to security controls, compliance posture, and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop self-service tooling and reusable Terraform modules; support staging and development environments.
