U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage multi-region AWS infrastructure with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).

You will operate Kubernetes on EKS, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and implement observability and security controls across the platform. The role requires 5–6 years of relevant experience, strong AWS skills, and proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong AWS cloud services expertise.
• IaC with Terraform & CloudFormation.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes environments (EKS, Helm, service mesh).
• Advanced CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins.
• Proficient Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with DevSecOps and cloud security controls (PCI DSS, etc.).
• Observability expertise with Datadog and CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Architect and operate multi-region AWS environments for resiliency.
• Manage core AWS services (EKS, ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Route 53, VPC, IAM).
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins.
• Develop automation via Python, Bash, and PowerShell for provisioning and deployments.
• Build and enhance Kubernetes platforms on EKS with Helm charts and security controls.
• Implement observability and reliability with Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Lead incident response and RCA with engineering teams to improve resiliency.
