Job summary

BOK Financial seeks an IT Engineer IV - Cloud Platform Solutions to lead cloud strategy and architecture. This senior-level role combines hands-on engineering expertise with architecture leadership, focusing on building and optimizing secure cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with strong skills in AWS or Azure platforms. The role also offers the opportunity for mentoring and technical leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.
Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application architectures.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture and platform strategy.
Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across AWS and/or Azure.
Drive cloud enablement through reusable infrastructure patterns and self-service capabilities.
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines.
Establish and enforce cloud governance standards.
Partner with teams to support cloud migration strategies.
Implement observability practices, including monitoring and reliability engineering.
Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
