Job summary

Clovers platform engineering team seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design and scale core server components for a modern fintech SaaS platform. You will collaborate with developers, improve reliability, and guide architectural decisions across services.

You will leverage Java, Python, Go, or C++ and container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes to deliver robust backend solutions and maintainable APIs. A strong foundation in data structures and algorithms is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in programming with Java, Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience with modern containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing backend services.
• Competency in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and software design.
• Aptitude for diagnosing technical issues, debugging code, and automating routine tasks.
• Experience working with relational databases.

  • Cloud: Kubernetes (EKS or GKE), Virtual Machine (GCE or EC2), networking and provisioning (Terraform).
  • Service development API: OpenAPI, Protobuf, GQL.
  • Service mesh: Istio, Linkerd, Consul.
  • Proxy: Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy, Apache Server.
  • Caching: Redis, Memorystore.
  • Observability: Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Splunk.

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $186,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
