Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Principal Cloud Platform Architect based in the United States. This high-impact leadership role shapes the technical foundation of a next-gen cloud platform for analytics and AI, defining long-term multi-cloud architecture across regions and tenants.

The role spans infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, security, and product engineering, providing broad influence and hands-on leadership to establish standards for secure, scalable services

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or cloud infrastructure showing senior architectural level.
• Proven success designing multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and modern platform engineering practices.
• Strong experience with GCP/AWS/AZURE; GCP valued.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IaC, and service meshes.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term cloud platform architecture across multi-cloud, multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS.
• Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives while addressing technical debt.
• Design scalable infrastructure spanning compute, networking, storage, APIs, and shared components.
• Establish architectural standards and lead architecture reviews focused on security and reliability.
• Shape Kubernetes and platform infrastructure to support enterprise-scale workloads.
• Partner with SRE to improve reliability, observability, and capacity planning.
• Enable engineering teams with CI/CD, developer tooling, and self-service capabilities.
• Collaborate across Infrastructure, Platform, SRE, Security, and Product teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and prototypes for platform evolution.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise architectural maturity across the org.
