Job summary

Oracle Corporation’s Cloud Infrastructure division is seeking a senior Systems Administrator to own production environments, drive deployments, and coordinate incident responses. You will work with multiple teams to ensure security, performance, and high availability at scale.

You should have 5+ years IT experience, strong Linux, scripting, networking, and hands-on tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Terraform. On-call rotations and on-site work in the United States are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT industry
• 4+ years as Sys Admin/Support
• Strong systems architecture skills
• Strong Linux administration
• Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash)
• Understanding of Networking, Cloud Computing, and Load Balancers

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software.
• Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues.
• Coordinate escalated support cases with internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Maintain high availability and security posture of production environments.
• Develop and maintain deployment automation and on-call processes.
• Keep documentation and SOPs up to date.
