Job summary

Amazon in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build and operate scalable cloud networking software. You will own design, delivery, and operation of customer-facing services that automate and improve our global data center networks and infrastructure.

You will work on distributed systems in a fast-paced environment, mentoring other engineers, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure, reliable rollouts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large-scale systems.
• 2+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Develop software services that deploy and scale AWS network infrastructure.
• Shape vision, design, and roadmap for customer-facing services.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering to roll out software quickly and safely.
