Job summary

Ontrac Solutions in Chicago seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support hybrid cloud networking, automation, and reliability initiatives. You will work with cloud platform engineering and customer stakeholders to shape project delivery from definition to final deployment.

The ideal candidate has deep Google Cloud networking experience (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, load balancing, firewall policies), strong Terraform skills, and Azure networking familiarity.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, load balancing, firewall policies).
• Advanced Terraform skills, including module design/refactoring and JSON-driven hydration modules.
• Strong Azure networking familiarity, especially VNet management.
• Google Cloud and networking certifications with dates to be provided.
• Experience designing or operating hybrid on‑premise to cloud networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate hybrid networking architectures bridging on‑premise environments with Google Cloud.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, DNS, and load balancing issues.
• Build and manage infrastructure via Terraform.
• Design secure network architectures with segmentation and firewall policies.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve system reliability.
