Job summary

ADT is seeking a seasoned Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud and on-prem network technologies across hybrid environments. You will specialize in security, VPC design, and multi-cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure), with hands-on experience in Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX-T/AVI, and F5 solutions.

The role requires extensive experience with BGP/OSPF, SD-WAN, Wi‑Fi design, and automation scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 8-10 years in IT network engineering roles (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN).
• CCNA, CCNP and Cloud certifications.
• Experience with multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba).
• Deep cloud networking experience across AWS, GCP, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Strong scripting and network automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud & On-prem network technologies with focus on security and VPCs.
• Develop hybrid and multi-cloud deployment strategies for optimal performance.
• Engineer network solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX-T/AVI, F5.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN across multi-vendor platforms.
• Design and optimize enterprise-grade Wi‑Fi networks with seamless coverage and security.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts to streamline tasks.
• Configure dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) for resilient networks.
• Document detailed network designs and topologies for new and upgraded deployments.
• Perform site surveys and capacity planning for LAN, wireless, and SD‑WAN.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WLAN, SD‑WAN, routing.
• Maintain network performance through proactive monitoring and capacity management.
• Implement QoS to prioritize critical application traffic.
• Design HA solutions with redundant links and failover.
• Collaborate on security with standards compliance for Wi‑Fi, LAN, SD‑WAN.
• Assist in evaluating next-gen technologies including cloud-managed networks.
• Provide input on hardware/software selection (switches, routers, SD-WAN appliances).
• Manage external DNS and domain registrations.
