Job summary

ADT is seeking a seasoned cloud network engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud and on‑prem networks across hybrid footprints. The role emphasizes security, VPC design, and multi‑cloud deployments with Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX‑T/AVI, and F5 experience.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years in IT network engineering, strong routing protocol expertise (OSPF/BGP), and hands‑on experience with enterprise WLAN/WAN and SD‑WAN. A CCNA/CCNP and cloud certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of LAN switching, VLAN configuration and spanning tree.
Expertise in OSPF and BGP for large enterprise environments.
Proficient in WAN tech including SD‑WAN and load balancing.
Advanced Wi‑Fi design and enterprise wireless implementation.
Scripting for automation (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and network orchestration.
Experience with multi‑vendor platforms (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba).
Hybrid cloud networking knowledge with on‑premise integration.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud and on‑prem networks with security and VPC design.
Develop multi‑cloud hybrid strategies and ensure optimal performance.
Engineer Cisco, Palo Alto, NSX‑T/AVI, F5 deployments including BGP configs.
Configure wired/wireless LAN, WAN, and SD‑WAN for enterprise environments.
Plan site surveys, capacity planning, and high‑availability configurations.
Document designs/topologies and maintain QoS configurations.
Collaborate with security teams to meet security standards for Wi‑Fi, LAN, and SD‑WAN.
Provide input on hardware/software choices for networking and SD‑WAN appliances.
Manage external DNS and domain registration as needed.
