LivePerson is hiring a Senior Cloud Architect (Network & SRE) to design, deploy, and scale its global GCP networking for a highly available platform. You will work remotely from the USA and partner with SRE and platform teams to improve reliability and security across distributed services.

You will implement Terraform-based IaC, lead networking strategy, and drive cost optimization while mentoring engineers. A remote-first environment with strong benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cloud Architecture, Network Engineering, or SRE/DevOps.
• Deep expertise in GCP networking (VPC, Interconnect, Load Balancing).
• Strong background in DevOps and IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• US-based residency.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Go, or Bash).
• Understanding of distributed systems and observability.
• Ability to lead technical strategy across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable GCP network architectures (VPCs, Interconnects, load balancing, DNS).
• Lead IaC implementation for networking components using Terraform.
• Collaborate with SRE to address connectivity, latency, and performance across microservices.
• Implement and manage network security policies (firewall rules, VPC Service Controls, IAM roles).
• Optimize cloud networking costs through traffic analysis and architectural improvements.
• Drive reliability engineering in the network domain (capacity planning, error budgets, monitoring).
• Onboard services with teams to meet networking and reliability standards.
