Job summary

LivePerson is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (Network & SRE) to design and maintain the global platform’s cloud networking on GCP. This remote-first role targets a US-based expert who can lead networking and reliability across distributed systems.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, optimize performance, and collaborate with SRE and platform teams to enhance security and scalability.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, networking, or SRE/DevOps.
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform networking: VPCs, Interconnect, Load Balancing, DNS.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar.
US-based residency.
Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux networking, and observability.
Ability to lead technical strategy across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient GCP network architectures.
Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code for networking components using Terraform.
Partner with the SRE team to solve complex connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
Implement and manage network security policies, including firewall rules and IAM roles.
Optimize cloud networking costs through traffic analysis and efficiency improvements.
Drive reliability engineering within the network domain, including capacity planning and monitoring.
Collaborate with engineering teams to onboard services meeting networking and reliability standards.
