Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking a Senior Network Platform Engineer to design and engineer cloud-first network solutions across public and hybrid environments. You will drive automation, build scalable services, and partner with cross-functional teams to integrate networking into broader platform solutions.

You will work independently on complex initiatives, contributing to security, reliability, and agility of the firm’s infrastructure while advancing network automation and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in network engineering with cloud/hybrid experience.
• Hands-on with AWS VPC, Azure VNet, routing, security groups, NACLs.
• Strong TCP/IP, BGP, routing, firewalling knowledge.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python for automation.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams and explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud network architectures across AWS/Azure.
• Develop hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, routing).
• Automate networks using IaC and scripting frameworks.
• Standardize services, templates, and patterns for repeatability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud and on-prem environments; perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Security to meet design and compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain technical docs, diagrams, and runbooks.
