Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Cloud Engineer to drive development and stability of cloud platforms. You will implement Infrastructure as Code, collaborate with developers and platform teams, and design secure AWS foundations. The role emphasizes automation, security, and continuous improvement in a distributed team.

The candidate will work on cloud-native architectures, IAM, encryption, and cost optimization, with hands-on leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years AWS cloud tech and architecture experience.
• Experience with multi-cloud (Azure preferred but not required).
• Strong in Python and automation; IaC using Terraform.
• Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security and compliance.
• Ability to work in a distributed team and lead meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning.
• Collaborate with developers and platform teams to gather requirements.
• Manage product backlog and prioritize features.
• Monitor performance, metrics, and security controls.
• Design secure, scalable cloud foundations in AWS.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to teammates.
