Job summary

Aviatrix is seeking a Sr. Cloud Network Engineer to join the Customer Support team. This role supports the adoption of Aviatrix’s multi-cloud Networking and Security Services, guiding customers for rapid integrations and real-time strategy to ensure satisfaction.

Weekend shift: Tue-Sat Pacific Time; West Coast location preferred but flexible. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, knowledge-content creation, and mentoring engineers, with opportunities to influence case-management workflows

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer success, resident engineer, network engineer, or similar
• Solid understanding of networking, routing, BGP, IPsec VPN, virtualization, Linux and infrastructure software
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking products (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Experience with Python, shell scripting, automation
• Availability to work Tue-Sat Pacific Time, with after-hours support as needed

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and engineering to resolve technical issues for Aviatrix enterprise customers
• Report product issues to development and advocate for customers
• Develop and improve knowledge-based content and troubleshooting guides
• Lead resolution of complex high-priority support issues with engineering teams
• Provide hands-on support for complex customer environments and production issues
• Offer solutions to leadership and feedback on proposed solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve case management workflows
• Mentor Cloud Network Engineers and share best practices
