Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud network engineering.
• Deep understanding of VPC design, subnetting, Route53, transit gateways, PrivateLink and related AWS technologies.
• IaC deployment with CloudFormation or Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Ownership: deliver production-ready network solutions.
• Observability in cloud network environments.
• Travel: quarterly to planning events.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD CAC.
• DoD security clearance (Secret) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Own solution across engineering and user success to understand desired outcomes.
• Design and manage scalable cloud network topologies for low latency and secure communication.
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable deployments.
• Provide technical input during planning sessions with senior engineers to ensure platform success.
• Contribute hands-on to deployment and operation of cloud network infrastructure (80% engineering, 20% mentoring).
• Lead Tier 3 incident RCA and implement long-term fixes.
