Job summary

Concept Plus seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate a hybrid network across AWS, OCI, and on-prem data centers for a federal-focused client. You will design secure connectivity, speed OCI onboarding, and lead troubleshooting for complex end-to-end issues while complying with security requirements.

Roles include maintaining Terraform-based network as code, implementing Zero Trust controls per OMB TIC 3.0 and NIST 800-53, and ensuring documentation and security posture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in enterprise network engineering with hybrid cloud networks.
• Hands-on production networking in AWS and OCI.
• Expert-level BGP; strong OSPFv2/v3; IPv4 and IPv6.
• Site-to-site and remote-access VPN experience.
• Experience in federal environments (FISMA/NIST 800-53).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement connectivity between data center, AWS, and OCI with BGP policy and redundancy.
• Design tenant networks (VCN/VPC, hub-and-spoke, segmentation) to speed OCI onboarding.
• Maintain network as code (Terraform) and automate config and validation.
• Implement network security controls and Zero Trust aligned with federal standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation for security authorization (NIST 800-53 / CMS AR).
• Recommend improvements, plan capacity, and support IPv6 adoption.
