Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Design Engineer (Cloud Network) to design, implement, and operate hybrid cloud network infrastructure connecting T-Mobile’s multi-cloud environment to on-prem datacenters.

You will own reliability, SRE accountability, and drive automation with Terraform and Python. Responsibilities include designing hub-spoke topologies across AWS, GCP, and Azure; managing interconnects; implementing secure DNS and firewall configurations; and mentoring engineers while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years cloud networking experience.
• Experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on with Terraform and Python for automation.
• SRE and on-call ownership for production cloud networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hub-spoke cloud network topologies across AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Own hybrid DC interconnect and manage AWS Direct Connect, GCP interconnect, and Azure ExpressRoute.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP routing policies across cloud-to-datacenter links.
• Design hybrid DNS architecture using Route 53 and Azure DNS Private Resolver.
• Author and maintain Terraform modules; enforce IaC state and peer-reviewed changes.
• Automate network tasks using Python and cloud SDKs; perform on-call for production networks.
• Lead and mentor associate engineers; collaborate with distributed teams.
