Job summary

LivePerson is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (Network & SRE) to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of the global platform's network on GCP. This US-based, remote-friendly role focuses on high availability, performance, and security across distributed systems, collaborating with SRE and platform teams to drive reliability and scalability.

You will own scalable GCP networking, IaC using Terraform, and cross-functional coordination with engineering to onboard services and optimize

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cloud Architecture, Networking, or SRE/DevOps roles.
• Deep expertise in GCP networking (VPC, Interconnect, Load Balancing, DNS).
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform or similar tools.
• US-based residency; scripting knowledge (Python, Go, or Bash).
• Understanding of distributed systems, Linux troubleshooting, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable GCP networking architectures.
• Lead IaC for networking components using Terraform.
• Collaborate with SRE to solve connectivity and performance issues across distributed systems.
• Implement and manage network security policies (firewalls, IAM).
• Optimize cloud networking costs via traffic analysis and efficiency improvements.
• Drive reliability engineering with capacity planning and monitoring improvements.
• Onboard services meeting networking and reliability standards.
