Job summary

Broadcom seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Cloud Native Storage team. You will design and deliver features for a highly scalable storage product, focusing on Kubernetes integration and distributed control planes.

You will work across the stack from the storage control plane to the data plane, driving reliability and performance. The role emphasizes ownership of the SDLC, collaboration with leads and product management, and production support in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems applications.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering.
• Foundational knowledge in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with scale, performance, and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Design & implement distributed systems, primarily with Go and/or C++.
• Own SDLC in designated areas to accelerate feature delivery using scalable environments.
• Collaborate with TLs, architects, dependent teams and PM to translate problems into designs.
• Provide production and non-production support across multiple layers.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
