Job summary

Oxy is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and enhance the Nexus platform. You will lead technical decisions, drive modernization, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong full-stack skills in C#, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies, with a track record of mentoring teams and delivering high-impact software on time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
7+ years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in C#/ .NET, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SQL Server.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Experience performing code reviews and mentoring developers.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications supporting the Nexus platform.
Build scalable and maintainable solutions using Angular, .NET/C#, SQL, and cloud-native technologies.
Lead application architecture discussions and recommend modernization strategies.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
Create reusable components and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
Support technical decision-making and solution design reviews.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Support deployment automation, monitoring, and release management processes.
Implement cloud-native and containerized solutions utilizing Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and enterprise security requirements.
Perform application performance tuning and optimization.
Support testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Identify and remediate technical debt and operational risks.
Work with product teams to gather and refine requirements.
Translate business needs into technical solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Assist with production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
