Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the CNCS Platform in New York. You will help build and scale the Cloud Native Compute Services Platform on Kubernetes, developing resilient, multi-tenant infrastructure using Go and open source tools.

Collaborating with CNCS and AI teams, you will ship full‑stack solutions, ensure security and automation, and drive engineering excellence. 4+ years in OO languages and a CS/engineering degree are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with an object-oriented language (Go, C++, Python, Java).
• Degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and users.
• Self-motivated, curious, and capable of independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure features using Go, Kubernetes services and open source tech.
• Iterate quickly as CNCS scales and adds capabilities.
• Collaborate with CNCS engineers and CTO office.
• Foster a technically outstanding, collaborative environment.
• Treat security and automation as core features.
