Qualifikationen

• Experience with query processing including execution and query optimization, transaction management, storage management, backup and restore.
• Experience building a large-scale high-performance database platform.
• Storage systems experience.
• Distributed systems experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Go or Java programming.
• Familiarity with Linux shell and Python scripting.

Aufgaben

• Partner with PMs and engineers to build backend support for cloud database services.
• Design and develop core database system functionalities and tools.
• Conduct performance and scalability tests and research improvements.
• Create comprehensive unit, functional and system tests for quality.
• Participate in release and deployment processes.
• Debug, perform root-cause analysis, and diagnose defects.
• Handle large-scale cloud infra problems and on-call rotations.
