Job summary

ByteDance seeks a Senior Software Engineer for AI Infra Compute in Seattle. You will design and implement prototypes and core features for a large-scale cloud infra platform supporting AI workloads.

You will collaborate across teams, review designs, and follow industry trends to align with roadmaps. Responsibilities include prototyping key technologies, driving feature improvements, and researching trends from academia and open-source.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years experience as a senior development engineer.
• 3 years experience building large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication, self-motivation, engineering practice and cross-functional teamwork.
• Deep understanding of cloud or AI infrastructure.
• Familiar with GPU infra, ML frameworks/engines and server hardware tech.
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.
• Publications in academia are a plus.
