Job summary

Cohesity is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and deliver cloud-native SaaS products on AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will build large-scale distributed data platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and multi-cloud operability.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in backend development, deep C++ and Go skills (Java also acceptable), and strong knowledge of distributed systems and storage concepts. Hybrid onsite 2 days/week in Santa Clara, CA.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years backend development experience.
• Expert-level programming in C++ and Go; Java also acceptable.
• Experience with cloud-native, distributed systems on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with storage services like S3 and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud-native SaaS products running on public clouds.
• Architect large-scale distributed data systems for performance and reliability.
• Develop high-performance microservices and data pipelines with observability.
• Collaborate with product teams to shape roadmaps and technical strategy.
