Yoh is seeking a Senior Cloud-Native Application Architect to lead the technical design and modernization of enterprise web platforms. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and resilient applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud-native environments such as OpenShift.

You will guide architecture across development, cloud infrastructure, security, and integration teams, translating complex requirements into practical solutions and communicating decisions to engineers and business

Qualifications

• Strong background designing and delivering enterprise applications in leadership roles (Solution/Technical Architect etc).
• Strong knowledge of modern web development architecture (React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Experience with API development, distributed architecture, and security.
• Experience deploying on OpenShift/Kubernetes and cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Location: Dallas, TX (Downtown)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite Weekly

Contract Duration: 24+ Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud-Native Application Architect to lead the technical design and modernization of enterprise web platforms. This position focuses on building scalable, secure, and resilient applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and enterprise integration technologies.

The architect will establish technical direction across application development, cloud infrastructure, security, and integration teams. Responsibilities include evaluating existing systems, designing future-state architectures, defining reusable engineering standards, and supporting the deployment of enterprise applications.

Qualified candidates should have a strong background in application architecture, hands‑on knowledge of React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript, and the ability to architect applications deployed within Red Hat OpenShift and other cloud-native environments.

Required Qualifications

• Substantial background designing and delivering enterprise applications in a Solution Architect, Application Architect, Technical Architect, or comparable leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of modern web development architecture, particularly React, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Practical understanding of server‑side application architecture, API development, and distributed application design.
• Architecture and deployment knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, including containerized application design and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud‑native application deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of API management, API gateways, enterprise identity integration, and event‑streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Proficiency with RESTful services, microservices, service integration patterns, and asynchronous communication.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, container configuration, networking, and application deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication and authorization protocols, CI/CD processes, and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to design systems that meet performance, availability, resiliency, scalability, and observability requirements.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions and communicate architectural decisions to engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications

• Familiarity with service mesh technologies, distributed tracing, and cloud-native monitoring platforms.
• Background modernizing legacy applications and migrating workloads into containerized or cloud‑hosted environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture governance and architecture review processes.
• Previous work in energy, utilities, critical infrastructure, highly regulated industries, or other large enterprise environments is beneficial but not required.

Estimated Min Rate: $79.10
