Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect focused on Infrastructure Migration and Modernization. You will partner with customers to design migration strategies that transform how they build, deploy, and operate on AWS.

You will combine deep technical expertise with business acumen to assess portfolios, architect hybrid and cloud-native solutions, and guide customers through every migration phase of their journey.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end migration and modernization solutions by analyzing customer portfolios and architecting cost-optimized paths to AWS.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders from developers to executives, aligning cloud strategies with business objectives.
• Lead technical discussions, identify high-risk or complex options, and engage specialists as needed.
• Publish thought leadership content such as whitepapers and reference architectures on migration best practices.
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, and engineering to advance engagements and drive adoption.
