Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect focused on Infrastructure Migration and Modernization to design and deliver migration strategies for customers moving to AWS.

You will assess complex portfolios, architect hybrid and cloud-native solutions, and guide migration journeys from strategy to execution. You will partner with customers and internal teams to drive migration readiness, design robust architectures, and produce thought leadership content that helps

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end migration and modernization solutions by analyzing customer portfolios and architecting cost-optimized paths to AWS.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders from developers to C-level executives, aligning cloud strategies with business goals.
• Lead technical solution discussions, evaluate design choices, and engage specialists for high-risk or complex options.
• Author and deliver thought leadership content such as whitepapers, reference architectures, and presentations to educate customers on migration best practices and AWS capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, and engineering to progress engagements through their lifecycle and accelerate adoption.
