Job summary

Devopsroles seeks a Senior Cloud Migration Architect to lead AWS platform configuration and CI/CD automation for a large-scale enterprise cloud migration. The role is hands-on, delivering production-ready environments sprint by sprint across 30+ applications using Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon EKS, and EC2.

You will configure Beanstalk, EKS, EC2, RDS with DBAs, design VPCs/IAM, and implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Qualifications

5–6+ years AWS experience
3+ years Kubernetes experience
Proven experience with ArgoCD or Flux (required)
Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML) experience
Docker and ECR experience
Terraform or CloudFormation experience
Familiarity with RDS databases and DBAs
Linux and bash scripting skills
Git workflows and code reviews
Ability to write clear documentation and collaborate cross-functionally

Responsibilities

Configure Elastic Beanstalk environments across Dev, Test, and Prod
Stand up and operate EKS clusters with node groups, autoscaling, ingress, and namespaces
Provision and harden EC2 environments including AMIs, sizing, and patching
Partner with DBAs on RDS setup
Design VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and KMS integrations
Build reusable Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Build Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML) for deployments
Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
Define promotion strategies across environments with approvals and rollback
Standardize pipeline templates for team scalability
Integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST) and artifact validation
Configure CloudWatch logs, metrics, alarms, and dashboards
Define SLOs, alerting, and incident response runbooks
Produce runbooks and ADRs and maintain IaC repositories
Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and DBAs
