Job summary

The Stafford Gray Group is seeking a Senior Cloud Migration Architect to lead AWS platform configuration and CI/CD automation for a large-scale enterprise migration. In this hands-on role, you will build and troubleshoot environments while mentoring team members.

Your responsibilities will include configuring Elastic Beanstalk and EKS, managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and producing operational documentation. Ideal candidates will have extensive AWS and Kubernetes experience.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $82 on a 1099 basis.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years AWS experience (EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• 3+ years Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred, Helm, ingress).
• Proven experience with ArgoCD or Flux (required).
• Strong Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML) experience.
• Solid Docker and ECR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS platform configuration and CI/CD automation.
• Build and operate EKS clusters and Elastic Beanstalk environments.
• Produce operational documentation and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud, containers, and networking.
