Job summary

Mattel Game Studios seeks an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to own cloud infrastructure and live services for global mobile games. You will design and operate GCP environments, build and deploy pipelines, and automate monitoring and reporting to keep live services reliable.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in infra/DevOps, deep GCP knowledge, Terraform, and strong collaboration with internal teams and external studios. This in-office role offers a hybrid schedule with Fridays remote.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform and network design.
• Hands-on Terraform and scripting, disciplined in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure on GCP for games and services.
• Design and run CI/CD pipelines, build servers, and deployment infra.
• Automate infrastructure and workflows with Terraform and scripts.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and automated reporting for live ops.
• Improve service reliability and troubleshoot incidents with teams.
• Ensure security with access controls and data protection.
