Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in the United States. You will work with multiple teams to strengthen security controls, review architectures for threat modeling, and develop automation using Python to support the security program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in prod.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Engineering discipline experience.
• Experience building security systems in cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS, antivirus, authentication, log management, content filtering.
• Knowledge of network security, monitoring tools, and CIS/NIST/OWASP practices.
• Familiarity with web technologies and network/web protocols.
• Travel within US may be required (minimal).
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP).

Responsibilities

• Promote strong security controls across teams and during architectural reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and threat models.
• Develop automation using Python and related tools to cover security agents.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, clouds and containers.
• Design and implement security controls for servers, cloud and containers.
• Support compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from security perspective.
• Assist with customer and vendor audits from security standpoint.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including after-hours shifts.
