Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale the infrastructure behind our blockchain analytics platform. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to build highly available systems and automate operations.

You will drive monitoring, reliability improvements, and security controls (SOC2, FedRAMP), define SLOs/SLIs, and contribute to roadmaps with leadership. This is a distributed, fast-moving environment that rewards ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS and/or GCP IaaS services (compute, storage, IAM, VPC, load balancers).
• Highly proficient with Unix/Linux operating systems, preferably CentOS & Alpine.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers/virtualization, web servers, and databases.
• Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and implementing monitoring, alerting, and runbooks.
• Terraform, Airflow, GKE, EKS, BigQuery, and/or Kubernetes experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and tooling to automate and maintain services.
• Use data to monitor availability, reliability, and sustainability of infrastructure.
• Engage in systems hardening and compliance (SOC2, FedRAMP).
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to set strategy and priorities for the Infrastructure team.
