Job summary

Distyl AI is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead cloud architecture and delivery of its AI platform across Distyl-hosted, customer VPC, and on-prem environments. You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable infrastructure and own deployments end to end.

With 7+ years in infrastructure/SRE, you’ll work across AWS, Azure, GCP and a second cloud, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD to drive reliable, scalable delivery in a hybrid model based in San Francisco and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, SRE, or related technical delivery roles.
• Deep production experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus working experience in a second cloud.
• Customer-facing engineering experience with direct responsibility for technical delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Hands-on experience with networking, IAM, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Own portable reference architectures across Distyl-hosted, customer VPC, and on-premises deployments with clear control-plane/data-plane boundaries.
• Deploy and upgrade Distyl's platform using infrastructure as code, Docker, Kubernetes, and shared CI/CD tooling.
• Build provisioning services, controllers, and reusable deployment APIs to speed future deployments.
• Own customer deployments end to end and maintain alignment on readiness, changes, dependencies, and blockers.
