Job summary

Cerebras Systems is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate the AWS infrastructure powering Cerebras' products and platform. This high-ownership role focuses on scalable cloud systems, IaC, and reliable production environments.

You'll own multi-account AWS architectures, implement Terraform-based pipelines, and work with security, networking, and platform teams to improve performance, security, and observability at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps with strong software foundations.
• Deep hands-on AWS expertise across multi-region, multi-account environments.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent practical depth.
• Expert-level Terraform; experience with Atlantis or similar GitOps workflows.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, or similar for production automation.
• Kubernetes (EKS preferred) with cluster lifecycle and networking expertise.
• Hands-on AWS IAM at scale and perspective on security boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate core AWS infrastructure (VPCs, EKS/ECS, IAM, networking, data services) with reliability as a key goal.
• Own SLOs, error budgets, runbooks, incident response, and postmortems for cloud workloads.
• Build and maintain IaC pipelines using Terraform and GitOps to eliminate manual provisioning.
• Design multi-account AWS organization strategies for security and cost governance.
• Instrument observability with metrics, tracing, alerting, and cost visibility (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Drive automation for provisioning, scaling, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and platform teams on security architecture and identity federation.
• Evaluate AWS-native and third-party tooling to improve developer experience and infrastructure efficiency.
