Job summary

Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design secure, scalable cloud solutions on Azure Government with a focus on compliance and performance. You will build and migrate workloads using IaC pipelines, implement security controls, and drive automation initiatives.

You will lead cloud engagements, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders across programs to ensure reliable, cost-effective architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree and 10+ years, or 7 years with PhD
• Security, cloud and networking knowledge required
• Experience with Azure Government or similar gov clouds preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable cloud solutions on Azure Government
• Create detailed migration plans with security and compliance
• Develop infrastructure as code with CI/CD pipelines
• Lead cloud consulting engagements and mentor engineers
